How do I extract domains from a list of URLs?

Paste your URLs or text, or open a file. By default you get the main domain, so blog.example.co.uk becomes example.co.uk. Tick the box to keep subdomains.

How does it avoid false matches?

Each match is checked against the public list of real domain endings, so names like report.txt are left out.

Is my text uploaded?

No. Your browser does the work and the text is not sent to a server.
